Tips from a makeup artist

Top tips for applying liquid eyeliner: Tighten the eyelid so that you have a taut skin to draw a line on it, then drag the eyeliner pencil to the base of the eyelashes to make your eyelashes look more dense, and use a cotton swab moistened with micellar water to correct any mistakes if necessary.

• For a bold look that catches the eye, pull the eyeliner line out, starting from the middle of the eyelid, to create a cat-eyes drawing.
• Apply the eyeliner in a continuous line from the inner to the outer corner, pulling the eyelid upwards.
• To define the upper lash line, tilt your head back slightly and rest your hand on a flat surface.
